Bauang LGU hosted a 2-day seminar on Provincial Tourism in coordination with the Department of Tourism, Region I on May 29-30, 2019 at the Bauang Farmer’s Hall, Bauang, La Union.
The seminar aimed to educate and train host communities of major attraction sites in the province so as to take advantage of tourism as an engine for local economic and community development while ensuring environmental sustainability.
Delegates are from Central Eastern Circuit; Fruit Basket Farm; St. Peter & Paul Churches; Punong Barangays of Grape Farms – Urayong, Bagbag, Santiago and Payocpoc sur, Palugsi Limmasangan, Parian Oeste and Pudoc; Bauang Bakawan Eco-Tourism Park; and Bauang Tourism Staff.
