Two Abra teachers among 10 best dancesport coaching trainees

Two teachers from Abra were among the top 10 finishers of the national dance sport training conducted for Department of Education teachers last January 31 until February 4.
Frances Jane Galenato of the Pidigan Elementary School was ranked seventh while Northern Abra National High School mentor Gerome Paul Querimit landed 10th in the virtual training done for more than 400 teachers nationwide.
The five-day trainings included workshops, demonstration and assessment of DepEd coaches for dance-sport nationwide including technical steps of the different dances including Latin American and Modern Standard disciplines.
“Dakkel a gundaway para kaniak a mapili a mangibagi iti division iti national level nu man pay narigat ti internet connection kabayatan iti
training. Maragsakanak ta sikami a dua manipud iti CAR a nangibagi iti division ket adda pay iti Top 10 (This is a big break for me to represent the division [DepEd Abra School Division] in the national level despite the difficulty of internet connection during the training.
I am happy that we two from CAR represented our division and landed among the top 10),” Galenato said. Queremit said that he is elated and full of energy in sharing (his success) with his fellow Abra athletes and it will serve as a challenge for him in teaching the same to his athletes especially in the Regional Dancesport (competition) and the Palarong Pambansa.
