Two High Value target nabbed in Baguio City

BAGUIO CITY – Two male persons tagged as “High Value Target “were nabbed by the policemen from Baguio City Police Office in a buy-bust operation last November 4, 2019 in Barangay Balsigan in the city. This resulted in the arrest of Jessie Concepcion Puruganan (HVT), 40 years old, single, jobless, native of Paoay, Ilocos Norte and resident of No. 17, Upper Balsigan, Baguio City and Anthony Ringor Castillo aka Tulig, (HVT), 42 years old, born on October 30, 1977, 42 years old, Single, jobless, native of Sta Cruz Manila and resident of No. 8C, Kisad Road, Baguio City.
The suspects conspired to sell a sachet of shabu worth Php 9,000.00 weighing MOL 2.5 grams to a DEU operative who posed as a buyer.
During their arrest, two sachets of shabu weighing MOL one gram each, and assorted drug paraphernalia were seized from the possession of JESSIE PURUGANAN and the buybust money were recovered from Castillo.
An Inventory and marking procedure of the pieces of evidence was conducted onsite in the presence of the suspects and witnesses. The pieces of drug evidence were brought to the Regional Crime Laboratory Office-Cordillera for drug test and chemistry examination.
Cases with Violation of Section 5 in relation to section 26 (Conspiracy in Sale of Dangerous Drugs); Section 11 (possession of dangerous drugs) and Section 12 (possession of drug paraphernalia) Article II of RA 9165 were filed against the arrested suspect.
The suspect is now detained at the Baguio City Jail as per inquest resolution of the duty inquest prosecutor.
