The Regional Gender and Development Committee (RGADC) of the Regional Development Council launched the observance of the 18-day Campaign to End Violence Against Women in a program in Baguio City last week. Here, DSWD-CAR Regional Director Maria Catbagan-Aplaten (r) stressed that in the Cordillera region, the inspiration in the campaign to end violence against women comes from the collective cry “Cordillera, Agbinnaddang nga sardengan ti VAWC!” which is a call rooted in the culture of binnadang or the spirit of solidarity and cooperation.
