Mayor Benjamin Magalong convenes last May 23 the representatives of the different transport groups and offices involved in traffic and transport management where they discussed and adopt solutions to stem the growing incidents of road accidents involving vehicles and motorcycles. There were already four fatalities due to vehicular traffic incidents (VTIs) from January 1 to April 30, 2025 in the city based on the records of the Baguio City Police Office. “We need to come up with a strategy on how to address the alarming increase in vehicular accidents. Most prominent are incidents involving motorcycles,” the mayor said.
