2025 PROPOSED CITY BUDGET

The city council holds a special session on Nov. 26, 2024 to deliberate on the proposed budget amounting to P3,000,692,000. The body which had earlier approved the income component of the 2025 budget is set to scrutinize the expenditure aspect covering the proposed projects, programs and activities of the various departments of the city government. The body also discussed the Annual Investment Plan (AIP) for 2025 as adopted by the City Development Council (CDC). The AIP lists all projects of the city including those funded by the barangays and by the local and national governments. This year’s projects under the AIP has a total cost of P21,480,256,000.
