A rider passes through Sipitan and Yanged road tunnels at the Asin Hot Spring resorts in Tuba, Benguet on his way to Tubao, La Union avoiding the heavy traffic at Marcos Highway in Baguio City.

The Department of Public Works and Highways had earlier advised motorists to take the alternate route going to the lowlands while Kennon Road is closed indefinitely.
