6 PROCOR COPS AWARDED FOR THEIR NOTABLE ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Six personnel of the Police Regional Office Cordillera (PROCOR) were recognized during the Monday Flag Raising Ceremony held at the Masigasig Grandstand in Camp Major Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet on September 12, 2022. PBGEN MAFELINO ASPERO BAZAR, PROCOR Regional Director, presented the awards to the deserving PROCOR personnel and he was assisted by the other members of the
PROCOR Command Group.

Medalya ng Kagalingan was awarded to PLT TYRONE JOHN B BALANAY and PCpl Bartolome D Bangngayon of the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit (RDEU) for the arrest of a High-Value Drug Personality in Kalinga on August 16, 2022. Meanwhile, Medalya ng Kasanayan was awarded to PLT
FRANKLIN JAY Q AQUISIO, Acting Chief of Police of Pilar Municipal Police Station; PCpl Aniza D Paayas, PCpl Nile L Astudillo, and PCpl Jeff V Lopez, all personnel of RDEU, for the promulgation of judgment in favor of the government in “People of the Philippines vs. Joaquin Dela Cruz Albay” who was arrested
on August 1, 2021 for the violation of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2022.
