Baguio’s notorious female drug courier fall

BAGUIO CITY (July 4, 2021) – National Bureau of Investigation agents joined by Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives and Baguio City policemen finally cornered an elusive lady drug courier late Friday afternoon along Pacdal barangay here.
Areeya Fernandez Damogo, 27, who has earlier gained notoriety for taking drug courier tasks from a local big-time Filipino-Somali drug dealer before surrendering to policemen after a late night shoot out with PDEA agents out to get him last year, finally fell into a dragnet prepared by NBI-Cordillera agents past 5PM Friday.
She sold at least a gram of shabu worth P6,800 to an undercover government agent,  prompting her arrest, an intelligence officer at the NBI-Cordillera said.
A day before Damogo’s on Friday, NBI-CAR agents with the help of government informants bought shabu from her confirming her continuing illegal trade.
Damogo is also doing drug courier tasks from other drug dealers in the city using charm unto shabu users. She is also aligned with a drug group notoriously enticing young women for drugs, sex and later on recruit them to become drug transporters.
