BCPO HEADQUARTERS RECOGNIZE AS THE FIRST DRUG-FREE WORKPLACE

BAGUIO CITY

In a significant milestone, the Baguio City Police Office received official recognition from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) as the first highly urbanized city police office headquarters to achieve drugfree workplace status in Cordillera on November 13. This second breakthrough of BCPO was reached through the comprehensive drug testing of 532 police personnel within the BCPO office, all of whom returned negative results.

The drug tests, conducted with the oversight of the Baguio City Forensic Unit, ensured the accuracy and credibility of the outcomes. The conferment of BCPO as a Drug-free Workplace was highlighted by the unveiling of the Drug-free Workplace Tarpaulin, a symbolic representation of their
commitment to maintaining a drug-free environment. “This feat will not be achieved without the concerted efforts of everyone who painstakingly done their task which with the end mind of
totally eradicating illegal drugs in our beloved city.”

public service within the Baguio City Police Office. This achievement serves as a commendable example for other law enforcement agencies and organizations to follow suit in the ongoing battle against substance abuse.
