BNEGUET RED CROSS TOPS TARGETED GOALS, HONORS

This December celebrates the volunteers worldwide through their unwavering dedication to life and humanity. Today Acting-Governor and Red Cross Benguet Chairman, Board Member Marierose Fongwan-Kepes led the Benguet Chapter in honoring and awarding plaques and certificates to its loyal volunteers from the young to the seniors who went out of their ways to be of service to others.

This year the Chapter surpassed their goals by more than 10% with 6,824 volunteers this year compared to 6,160 last year. BM Kepes stressed the need for more programs in the province to convince the youngsters to join it’s program with the benefit of helping others in need while being insured. Personal development and trainings will also be given to inspire others to follow the spirit of volunteerism.
