On November 27-28, 2024, Buyagan Elementary School successfully conducted an In-Service Training (INSET) on Crafting Solo-Based PISA-Type Assessment Questions. The training aimed to enhance teachers’ abilities to develop high-quality assessment tools that align with the Programme. The event featured Jomelyn S. Quidmas, an award-winning educator and Grade 6 teacher, as the speaker. Jomelyn Quidmas shared her expertise in crafting PISA-type questions. Ma’am Lorna V. Wallit, the principal, discussed the statement of purpose to help the faculty understand the rationale behind the training and its alignment with the school’s vision for improving learning outcomes.
