PROCOR Regional Director, PBGen. David K. Peredo, Jr., assisted in the distribution of cash relief to the affected families of Typhoon Egay held at Baguio Central School, Baguio City, on July 28, 2023. The activity was initiated by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), the Baguio City Social Welfare Office, and House Speaker Ferdinand Martin Romualdez, who distributed Php10,000.00 cash aid and food packs to selected families who were greatly affected by the onslaught of Typhoon Egay.

Other key personalities present to facilitate and assist in the distribution were Congressman Eric Yap of Benguet, Congressman Mark Go of Baguio City, and the Vice Mayor of Baguio, Hon. Faustino Olowan. The distribution of cash relief to our kakailyans in Baguio City aims this provide immediate financial assistance to the families affected by the calamity. Also this aims to promote resilience in the aftermath of the typhoon and gather support from other stakeholders to help those who are in need.
