After six presidents in span of 36 years, a total of 31, 831 agrarian reform beneficiaries across the country including 432 farmers from the six provinces of the Cordillera region received their land titles from the Department of Agrarian Reform-Cordillera (DAR-CAR) during Friday’s (July 7) historic nationwide simultaneous distribution led by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr and Agrarian Reform Secretary Conrado Estrella III. Jemma Briones,64 from Baay Licuan, Abra and Annaliza Agdaca, 42 together with her six-year old daughter Roliz-vine of Sitio Agbanawa, Tabuk, Kalinga were among the recipients. Samuel Solomero, Regional Director of DAR-CAR said a total 1, 121 ARBs in the region will be awarded. The event was held at NewTown Plaza Hotel.
