Bauang Mayor Eulogio Clarence Martin P. de Guzman III in his clown attire led the 12th year celebration of the Panagkakararua last November 3 at the town plaza. With this year’s theme “Bauang Carnival” participants from the different departments of the LGU and private organizations depicted carnivals in different parts of the world like Carnival of Venice, Italy. Carnival of Sta. Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Island, Carnival of Oruro, Bolivia, Carnival of Cologne, Germany, Carnival of Copenhagen, Denmark, Binche, Belgium, Notting Hill London, Rio Carnival of Brazil, Fasnact in Basel, Switzerland, Fancy Indian, Alice in Wonderland, among others.
