Mines and Geosciences Bureau (MGB)-CORDILLERA Regional Director Fay Apil reports seven new mining exploration applications are in process during a PIA- Kapihan press forum held on Feb 22.
Apil also urges local leaders to grant permits to sand and gravel to boost their economy.
Also present were representatives from big private mining companies, who say it will increase production, capitalizing on the current high price of metals.
