CTELA students receive financial grant

BAGUIO CITY – Three 4th year graduating students of the College of Teacher Education and Liberal Arts in Baguio Central University were recipients of the financial assistance from the Rotary Club of Baguio Summer Capital (RCBSC).
The assistance worth P10,000 each for the 1st semester, AY 2018-2019 was awarded last October during the club’s regular weekly meeting at PSD Café in Gen. Luna Road here.
Each grantee also received a Certificate of Scholarship.
The recipients of the cash assistance were Mauricio A. Antonio (BEEd), Micah M. Manuel (BSEd) and Ergie Grace Gigi L. Faguinney (BEEd). They were chosen by the college dean, Dr. Lourdes M. TRajano, and endorsed to the RCBSC Scholarship Committee for acceptance by Dr. Perfecto M. Lopez.
The club is headed by Rtn. Jose Antonio M. Baltazar, club president (RY 2018-2019), while the Scholarship Committee is chaired by Rtn. Steve B. Cating.
To qualify for the financial grant, the applicant must be a graduating student of either BSEd of BEEd program, with high scholastic ratings from 1st year to 3rd year, is financially in need based on parents income and with certificate of graduation issued by the University Registrar.
Only students from BCU and UB are qualified to apply for the grant amounting to P20,000 released in two equal semestral instalments.
