DENGUE INSPECTION

A composite team of the Health Services Office led by Sanitation Inspector Miller Balisongen with Barangay Officials, Baguio City Police Office Station 9, and the Public Order and Safety Division conducted the implementation of the Anti-Dengue Ordinance at individual households at puroks of Irisan Barangay on June 28, 2024. The selected purok were reported with high cases of Dengue since May 2024. Barangay Irisan is among the ten hotspots with the most Dengue Cases in the city.

The team checks the compliance of proper storage of liquid containers, ensuring other potential liquid containers
free from mosquito larvae. Violators are liable for the following penalties: first offense – render community
service for three days at the barangay, second offense — fine of P1,000 and conduct of community service for
three days and third offense — P3,000 and imprisonment of two days at the discretion of the court.
