DRIVER STABBED TO DEATH IN BAGUIO

Police vow to hunt down five still unidentified suspects who stabbed to death a driver early Wednesday morning along Kilometer 5 in Asin Road here. Jansel Cornel Pelayo, 21, from barangay Tadiangan, Tuba, Benguet, was enroute to the city when five men on board a taxi cab blocked him. Pelayo was forcibly taken out from his vehicle then the five took turns in stabbing him in various parts of his body. The suspects fled aboard the same taxicab they used to block Pelayo’s vehicle. The victim was rushed to the hospital but died because of multiple stab wounds. Investigators are now looking for the taxi cab with plate number YAB 3087 used by the suspects.
