Fake Documents

BAGUIO CITY – Two were arrested for faking their documents in entering Baguio City.
On November 26, Baguio City Police Office Irisan arrested Andrew Moico Lut, 33 and John Kevin Magno Cagujas, 27, both residents of unit 1B Green Valley Paringao, Bauang La Union.
The two were onboard their vehicle and passed through the quarantine checkpoint (QCP) on Naguillian Road, Irisan where they were flagged down for travel documents verification.
Both allegedly failed to present the original copies of their documents, prompting police officers to call the source of the documents for verification.
Police Lieutenant Arrizabal, QCP team leader, confronted the two about the documents they presented. Meanwhile, the police contacted Cezel Jane Gal, Laboratory Administrative of Safeguard DNA Diagnostics, confirmed that their names were not registered with the laboratory. Also, authorities called the Raya Wellness and Preventive Medicine in the name of Alex Javier who also confirmed that both did not undergo said test.
The two admitted their documents were fake and forged. Cagujas, confessed that a friend named ‘Chito Quesada’ gave them the fake documents.
The two were charged for violating Republic Act 11332 (Mandatory Reporting of Notifiable Diseases and Health Events of Public Health Concern Act).
