FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR FARMERS

At least 412 farmers with damaged agricultural produce in different barangays in Buguias, Benguet, and 19 in Ballay, Kabayan, received cash from Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go in coordination with Governor Dr. Melchor Daguines Diclas. The distribution of the financial assistance which ranges from P5K-P10K, depending on the assessment of the damages, was assisted by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the Provincial Government through the Office of the Social Welfare and Development and Office of the Provincial Agriculture.
