Spreading Christmas Magic and Love

Christmas spirit filled every corner of La Union as the Provincial Government, led by Gov. Raphaelle Veronica “Rafy”
Ortega-David, rolled out this year’s Paskuhang Bayan: The Governor’s Outreach Program on December 16-23, 2024,
reaching a total of 12,024 kaPROBINSYAnihan across the province. Paskuhang Bayan, which began in December 2022, is a brainchild of Gov. Rafy, inspired by her vision of ensuring that every family in La Union feels the warmth of the season. While this year’s program was simpler than its previous years, it carried the same love and purpose that the governor envisioned from the start.

Gov. Rafy, together with PGLU employees, distributed food packages and provided free services through various
provincial government offices. Raffle draws and prizes also brought smiles and excitement to the kaPROBINSYAnihan. In her message, Gov. Rafy expressed gratitude to everyone who made this year’s Paskuhang Bayan possible. She emphasized that while the event was simpler, the unwavering commitment to spread joy and uplift lives remained at the program’s core.

“Simple ‘man po ang ating Paskuhang Bayan ngayong taon, ang mahalaga natuloy po ang ating pamamahagi ng saya at pamasko sa ating mga kaPROBINSYAnihan…may request lang po ako…Sana ay ishare din natin ang mga blessings na ito sa ating mga pamilya, kaibigan, at mahal sa buhay, ” Gov. Rafy said. Paskuhang Bayan stands as a testament to the spirit of La Union PROBINSYAnihan which highlights unity, compassion, and collective effort in serving the people of the province. This program not only spreads Christmas magic and love but also strengthens the ties that bind the La Union community, reminding everyone that together, they can overcome challenges and create a brighter future for La Union and all kaPROBINSYAnihan.
