GUNMEN WAYLAY RICE MILL HELPER IN ABRA

BANGUED, Abra

Still unidentified gunmen killed a rice mill helper in Bangued, Abra’s capital town, Friday night. Dranreb Dimayen Bulda, 36, a native of sitio Bacsil, barangay Angad, but presently living at barangay Zone 5, also in Bangued, was on board his motorcycle from his birthplace towards sitio Bacsil, barangay Dangdangla past 10PM Friday when armed men fired at him, then fled to unknown directions. Bulda, who sustained two gunshot wounds on his chest and one on his right knee, was rushed to the hospital but did not make it.

Bangued police chief Major Paul Claveria, said investigators are still looking into the motive of the killing. He added that Abra Provincial Forensic Unit which immediately processed the crime scene for forensic leads and gather evidences. Claveria disclosed that investigators did not recover any ballistic evidence that may lead authorities in identifying the firearms used.
