HEDCOR RENEWABLE HYDRO’S COMPLY WITH ENERGY OPEN ACCESS

The clean and renewable energy (Cleanergy) of Hedcor has been recognized by the Department of Energy as a compliant Retail Competition and Open Access (RCOA) participant.
Eighteen Hedcor Cleanergy facilities have received said award after being compliant with DOE’s RCOA reportorial requirements for the fiscal year 2021. Up north in Luzon, the following hydro facilities are FLS, Labay, Lonoy, Ampohaw, Bineng 3, Irisan 3, and Sal-angan. Down south in Mindanao, the Manolo Fortich Hydros, Talomo Hydros, Sibulan Hydros, and Tudaya Hydros also garnered said recognition.

The Electric Power Industry Reform Act of 2001 (EPIRA) established Retail Competition and Open Access (RCOA) as a way to offer customers more choices in their electricity supply.
