The Ifugao Police Provincial Office welcomes its new Provincial Director, Col. Davy Limmong, following a turnover of command ceremony held at Camp Col Joaquin P Dunuan in Poblacion North, Lagawe, Ifugao on January 30. The ceremony was presided over by PROCOR’s Deputy Regional Director for Operations (DRDO), Col. Ronald Gayo and was attended by the Governor Jerry Dalipog, other local officials, supporters, and police officers of Ifugao PPO. As highlights of the ceremony, Col.Glenn Lonogan, chief of the Regional Personnel and Records Management Division (RPRMD), read the termination order of Col. James Mangili as the outgoing provincial director and designation order of Limmong as the new provincial director.
In his acceptance message, Limmong acknowledged the advocacies of the previous leadership and
committed to carrying on what his predecessor has started in the promotion of peace and order in the province. “To the men and women of the Ifugao PPO, I urged all of your utmost cooperation as you work with me for the peace and order of our province. I accept the challenge of serving my kakailyan in the province of Ifugao as I lay out my platforms of governance in fighting all
forms of criminality.”Limmong said.
It can be recalled that Limmong was the former chief of the Regional Operations Division (ROD) before he was appointed as the new Top Cop of Ifugao PPO. Gayo thanked Mangili for his services especially in bringing Ifugao PPO to greater heights of accomplishments while he conveyed his full
support and trust to the leadership of incoming provincial director. “Let us give our warmest congratulations to the incoming provincial director of Ifugao. Your dedication and commitment to service will certainly become the foundation you will be carrying to properly and faithfully serve
your people and of course the province you will be working with”,Gayo added.
