IMPACT ON DOMAPMA STOPPAGE

Phoebe Manuel, whose parents are pocket miners in Sitio Dalicno, Barangay Ampucao, Itogon, Benguet, expresses fear she may be forced to stop on her studies due to financial difficulties as a result of the stoppage order against Dontog Manganese Pocket Miners (Domapma). Nicholas Tibangwa, president of the small scale mining association, and pocket miner’s leaderer Allan Sabiano appeal to Mines and Gesciences Bureau (MGB) to lift the stoppage order for their communities’ survival.
