ITOGON SIMULATION EXERCISE

The Itogon Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council MDRRMC, Headed by its Chief Executive Mayor Victorio Palangdan, conduct an Operational Simulation Exercise, to demonstrate and practice their readiness and response capacity on rain-induced landslides.
The lessons derived from the exercise will help improve their existing Contingency Plans and coordination protocols on the town’s Landslide Hazards.
The scenario is in Ucab and Poblacion, Itogon Benguet. Participated by selected community members and BDRRMCs in Ucab and Poblacion BDRRMCs of Tuding, and the MDRRMC of Itogon. Observers are from the OCD CAR, PDRRMO – Benguet, PRC-Benguet, Provincial Health Office, PNP, BFP, and ADRA Country Office, EU Delegation in the Philippines, CordisRDS, and the Media.
