ITOGON SME Produces Facemasks for COVID-19

Responding to the call of the times, Lamberto Curugan and his fellow tailors of LARNS Hill Association of Ampucao, Itogon Benguet felt that their expertise in sewing can be of help to the community by making affordable face masks that can be made available to the local community.
The municipality of Itogon has already placed a bulk order of washable facemasks and according to Curugan; they are capable of producing hundreds in a day. LARNS is a recipient of the shared services facility (SSF) program of DTI-CAR and the Municipal Livelihood Development Program of Itogon.
