Love is coffee

A lot of people drink coffee for different reason. Some drinks coffee for a better digestion, to be fully awake and alert, a good combination for your breakfast, merienda and a good discussion on the side. No one can take away Coffee in some peoples live for it is a part of their everyday routine. It’s like following the aroma that makes you crave for a better taste of it to make you fully satisfied.

The 1st of its kind, Municipal of La Trinidad Benguet finally introduce The 1st Coffee Festival on Feb. 27 and 28 with its theme “Brewing Unity through Coffee” to be held at LT Gymnasium. Councilor Arthur Shontogan who truly push through of the Event for the recognition of Arabica Coffee as one of the best product to cater not only LT but the whole Province of Benguet said that “The Municipality allocate 100T as their counterpart of the said event, it is not much but hopefully with other private entities and other business sector they will know the potential of this product and this event for opportunity on opening a global market during the Farmers Forum and the Coffee Summit.” Meanwhile Mayor Romeo Salda said that they have invited Coffee Enthusiast, Café and Restaurant Owners, Coffee Farmers, Baristas, Department of Agriculture, NCIP, DTI and other Government Office to take part of the event for the assessment, promotion and development of Arabica Benguet Coffee in La Trinidad.

Now Coffee is like LOVE, do you agree iKit? Well some said so, because as you get to taste pure Coffee; it is actually bitter just like some single person who does not have love life. You have seen and heard some of your friends have their own family and you do not have one to love. However, with a little bit of learning to put Sugar like caring and love to someone then a mix of Creamer like trust and respect surely your Coffee will have a wonderful result of a love story while sipping it on a chit-chat date.

I have heard of a great love story from a friend who plant Coffee that lives at the boundary of John Hay and Upper Happy Hallow; they may have a hard time dealing with authorities all their lives but they have shown compassion, meekness, and humbleness throughout these trials. I guess some people on the higher position do not acknowledge the benefits of having them like securing the place, cleaning, planting different plants that will keep the land intact to avoid landslide. They may have break some law but that does not mean they will not change and follow. After all, we cannot take home our possession when we die someday.

In 1Cor. 13:13 “And now abide faith, hope and love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. So Love iKit, this is yours truly Tita Ara Katter of 98.7 ZRadio FM every Sunday 10AM to 1PM that always reminds you “Ti Panagkaykaysa, Mangiwanwan iti Naranyag nga Pagsayaatan.”
