Maghanda sa biglang pagdami ng COVID-19 na sumusunod sa protocols

LUNGSOD NG BAGUIO – Pinayuhan ang mga residente ng Lungsod ng Baguio na maghanda para sa panibagong biglang pagdami ng mga kaso ng Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) at istriktong panatilihin ang pagsunod sa health protocols.
Sinabi ni Mayor Benjamin Magalong na ang mga palatandaan ng isang nagbabantang pagdami ay nakita na ng maaga noon pang naaraang linggo base sa datos sa tumataas na pagkilos ng mga tao na nag-udyok sa kaniya na manawagan ng mahigpit na pagsunod sa minimum public health standards lalo na sa mga business establishments, sambahayan at transportasyon.
“While we are continuing to reopen our economy, we need to be careful and the only way is to stick to our minimum public health standards,” ani Mayor.
“Adherence to the health protocols remains to be our best weapon. When outside, always wear your masks and shields properly, observe
physical distancing, wash hands and disinfect regularly and avoid crowded and enclosed spaces and close conversations,” aniya.
“At home, wash your hands and change your clothes, disinfect frequently touched surfaces, observe physical distancing, monitor each other for flu-like symptoms and follow quarantine and isolation protocols if exposed to a positive case; “Business establishments and public transportation like jeepneys and taxi should strictly observe the face mask and shield requirements among their customers and open their windows for ventilation,” dagdag niya.
Sinabi ni City Health Officer Dr. Rowena Galpo na ang mobility indicator sa pagkilos ng mga tao sa rehiyon ay tumaas lalo na sa mga grocery stores, parke at lugar ng trabaho.
“As we all know, increased mobility means increased positivity rate and health care utilization rate so we really expect our cases to rise in the next ten to 14 days,” aniya.
Ang mga kaso sa lungsod ay pababa na mula noong Hunyo 1 ngunit sa ngayon sa mga resulta ng case frequency measures na ginagamit upang suriin ang antas ng community transmission point sa nagbabantang biglang pagdami. Ang 7-day moving average, average daily attack rate at two-week growth rate ay nagpakita ng pagtaas simula Hunyo 11.
Hanggang Hunyo 16 ay may kabuuang 13,204 ng mga kaso ang lungsod, 654 dito ay aktibo na may 12,278 gumaling at 272 ang namatay.
