MARRIAGE WEEK KAPIHAN

Programs and additional activities for Marriage week 2023 were discussed during the kapihan at the Senior citizen center last Thursday, Feb. 9. Panelists and participants were: Jam Malingan of the Philippine Information Agency; Eunice Baldivia of the Uplife Movement; Jeterda Junio of the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO); Lea Deborah Figueroa and Department Head Luz Perez, both of the Civil Registrar’s Office; Acting Health Services Office Head Dr. Celia Flor Brillantes; Chair of Council Committee on Women, Social Services and Urban Poor Councilor Elmer Datuin; CSWDO head Liza Bulayungan; Rev. Rowena Orajay, President, Uplife movement; Jail Officer (Female dorm) Roy Basatan; and Uplife Movement Vice-President Rev. Dr. Felicisimo Vestidas. The theme for the celebration is “Marriage: One Flesh Given and Received,” and the subtheme is “The He-A.R.T. of Marriage, Beating Together As One.”
