The regional health unit of the Department of Health (DOH), Center for Health Development (CHD), in Cordillera conducted health emergency response to affected areas in Itogon, Benguet affected by typhoon “Ompong”. Some of the partial response activities include medical consultation and rapid health assessment at evacuation areas, crisis communication, water sanitation and hygiene including disinfection, distribution of hygiene kits, site visit and assessment, mental health and psychosocial support activities, nutrition in emergencies, provision of RH services, treatment and counseling at Alejo M.
