Run to celebrate your birthday. Run to be with your family. Run to be fit and healthy. Run to help raise funds for the capacity building of the organization and its humanitarian services. Run to promote the attitude of good harmony and heartfelt volunteerism.

The Philippine Red Cross-Benguet Chapter will hold their Million Volunteer Run-4 on December 3, 2017 in commemoration of the 2017 International Volunteer Day on December 5 with the theme “Volunteers as first responders in crisis”.

Registration and Categories are as follows: 3K Run for only P200 with registration form and waiver, runners card and race bib; but if with singlet, then it costs 350 pesos and add P150 to make it P500 if you want to have a Bronze Membership. For 5K Run, registration fee also starts at the amount of P200, the same with the options of 3K Run. Now for 21K, the amount is 450 with registration form and waiver, runners card and race bib; but if you want to have a singlet, then it costs 600 pesos while an additional of P150 with a total of P750 will give you Bronze Membership. On the sense of reaching out for help, this is the best option you can put your money into. Think of the blood running through the veins of the person you are talking with. The times he or she is sick, struggling and needing of blood. You might not know it, he or she might not know it but God is surely watching. Sometimes you just join the Run simply because it is your hobby; but the good thing is that you get to help our indigent patients who are in need of blood transfusion but cannot afford to pay the blood processing fee to test if the blood is cleared from HIV, HEPA and TB.

In the Bible (KJV) Matt. 28:20, “Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world.” In everything you think, say and do, God is surely watching over you.

Christmas is a time of giving, loving, and forgiving. End your 2017 right by joining the Philippine Red Cross Million Volunteer Run. Together with your iKit or Dang-at when the Run is done, take a break as you eat at Marosans Restaurant located at Long-long Road, La Trinidad, Benguet as you relax with the mountainous view, while the clouds kiss the mountain tops, and listen to their live band as they play your favourite songs to reminisce the time.
