P25.8M MJ Plantation Sites Razed Anew In Kalinga

BAGUIO CITY (June 12, 2021)— Authorities overran at least five marijuana plantation sites in Tinglayan, Kalinga early Friday morning.
Police drug enforcement group operatives joined in by PDEA Kalinga agents and local Kalinga police in a marijuana eradication operation codenamed: “High Time” swooped down at sitio Balay, Brgy. Tulgao East, Tinglayan and found 10,700 square meters of marijuana plantation with P127,000 pieces of full grown MJ plants and ten thousand MJ seedlings.
PDEA Cordillera director Gil Castro said the seized and burned MJ was valued at P25,800,000.00).
