PGLU HOLDS EMPLOYEES RECOGNITION PROGRAM

Honors employees, offices, excelled in service, sports and envi-practice

SAN FERNANDO, La Union

The program featured several key highlights, including the awarding of the PGLU Olympics Winners, conferment of Loyalty Awards to 144 long-serving employees and recognition of the Most Eco-Friendly PGLU Office and Unit. The highlight of the event was the Conferment of the Ten Outstanding Provincial Public Servants (TOPPS) Award, given to employees who have demonstrated exceptional work performance, commitment to public service, and significant
contributions to the province’s development.

The recipients of the 2024 TOPPS Award 1st Level Category were Julie Ann A. Teaño, Provincial Information Office; Frenzilyn A. Mamaril, Provincial Treasurer’s Office; Armie B. Laudencia, La Union Provincial Tourism Office; Bryan R. Cañaveral, Sangguniang Panlalawigan; and Fernando Balala, Office of the Provincial Agriculturist. For 2nd Level Category, the awardees were Mark Anthony F. Artienda, Provincial Information Office; Jan Rei A. Sibaen, Sangguniang Panlalawigan; Angelo S. Navalta, Provincial Treasurer’s Office; Dr. Gretchen F. Aromin, Caba District Hospital.

The only awardee for the Executive level category is Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator, Michaela Louise T. Delfinado, EnP. In her message, Governor Raphaelle Veronica “Rafy” Ortega-David expressed her gratitude not just to the awardees but to all PGLU employees. “We are all accountable ang effective public servants, tandaan po ninyo iyan. Which is why I would like to take this opportunity to offer my congratulations to the rest of the PGLU Family – our department heads, chiefs of hospitals, and employees.. Hindi man po lahat tayo nabigyan ng award, lahat naman po tayo deserve marecognize sa araw na ito,” the governor’s message.

Before the program ended, the newly promoted and appointed employees took their oath of office before Gov. Rafy and all the attendees. The event concluded with a reaffirmation of the PGLU’s commitment to upholding
professionalism and dedication to serving the people of La Union through La Union PROBINSYAnihan.
