PNP Chief ginawaran bilang ‘Adopted Son of Cordillera’
LA TRINIDAD, BENGUET – Itinalaga ng Regional Development Council (RDC) si Police Director General Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa bilang Adopted Son of Cordillera at pinangalanan itong “Mulingan” mula sa salitang Kankanaey na ang ibig sabihin ay “hard rock”.
Ang simpleng seremonya ay ginawa sa pagbisita nito sa Camp Bado Dangwa noong Biyernes, Oktubre 6, sa selebrasyon ng 116th Police Service anniversary ng Police Regional Office-Cordillera (PROCOR).
Pinangunahan ni RDC Chairman at Baguio City Mayor Mauricio Domogan, kasama si Benguet Governor Pacalso, sa pagbibigay-parangal kay Dela Rosa bilang pagkilala sa napakalaking kontribusyon nito bilang PNP Chief sa pagpapatupad ng peace and order, lalo na sa pagsugpo ng illegal drugs, hindi lamang sa Cordillera, kundi sa buong bansa.
Ang pagiging adopted son ng Cordillera ni Bato ay napagkasunduan ng mga opisyales ng RDC-CAR Executive Committee sa bisa ng Resolution No. 14-2017 “Approving the Adoption of PDG Ronald ‘Bato’ M. Dela Rosa as ‘Son of the Cordillera’”.
Samantala, humakot naman ng anim na award ang Benguet Provincial Police Office para sa taong ito.
Pinangunahan ni Provincial Director Senior Superintendent Florante Camuyot ang award bilang Best Police Commissioned Officers for Operations of the year sa individual award, kasama ang kanyang mga tauhan na sina SPO1 Sunny Wance-Best Senior PNCO for Operations of the Year at PO3 Ruben Balanoy na Best Junior PNCO for Operations of the Year.
Sa unit award, nakuha rin ng Benguet PPO ang Best Provincial Police Office of the Year, samantalang nakuha naman ng Tublay MPS ang Best Municipal Police Station of the Year at Benguet PPSC, bilang Best Provincial Public Safety Company.
Ang iba pang awardees mula sa individual award ay sina Sr.Supt. David Peredo Jr., Best Senior PCO for Administration; Senior Insp. Ronaldo Wacnang, Best Junior PCO for Administration of the Year; Sr.Insp.Luis Dangatan, Best Junior PCO for Operations; SPO4 Christopher Depolio, Best Senior PNCO for Administration; PO2 Viva Rose Puday, Best Junior PNCO for Administration; NUP Robilyn Rojas, Best Non-Uniformed Personnel, Supervisory Level; at NUP Michelle Junior, Best Non-Uniformed Personnel, Non-Supervisory Level.
Sa unit award, Police Station 1 ang Best City Police Station of the Year; 1st RPSB Company, Best Regional Public Safety Company; CIDU-CAR, Best National Operational Support Unit of the Year; RFSO-15, Best National Administrative Support Unit of the Year; WCPD BCPO, Best Women and Children Protection Desk of the Year; Abra PPO Human Rights Desk, Best Police Human Rights Desk of the Year; at Abra PPSMU, Best Police Strategy Management Unit of the Year.
