PNP’s Double Barrel Reloaded involves different sectors

The Philippine National Police’s (PNP) Double Barrel Reloaded is making a different approach by including representatives from the media and religious sectors emphasizing that the word TokHang is from the Cebuano words toktok and hangyo which means to knock and plead to.
“Hindi lang yung kapulisan ang pumupunta doon. Kasama yung commander on the ground, kasama po kung may media personality at kasama din po yung ating mga representatives from their religious sector. Para matanggal yung cloud of doubt na EJK.” Says Police Senior Inspector Alexander Amistad.
Some of the changes to the renewed Double Barrel Reloaded is the involvement of barangay captains or barangay officials in the operation as well as the mandatory coordination with the church or religious officials.
According to Amistad, Cordillera’s situation is different among other places since the localities are more cooperative in the endeavor to win the war against drugs.
Amistad adds, “In behalf of the Police Regional Office-Cordillera, rest assured that your police are exerting double-time to keep our families safe, our street safe, free from drugs, and from all forms of criminalities.” DOH-CAR HEPO Release / ABN
