Police Region 1 receives international award

CAMP BGEN OSCAR M FLORENDO The Police Regional Office 1 received an international award from International Commission of Diplomatic Relations and Human Rights and Peace Inter-Governmental Organization (ICRDRHRP) last September 12, 2018 at Tanghalan ng Pasigueno, Pasig City, Pasig.
During the 2nd Annual Global ISCAHR Inter Governmental Court Conventions Party, Police Regional Office 1 was recognized for its great contribution in peaceful balance and growth of economy of the Philippines through social justice, intelligence and anti-illegal drug campaign.
Police Chief Supt. Romulo E Sapitula, PRO1 regional director, was awarded with the ICDRHRP N-IGO ICDRHRP Medal of Excellence and Plaque of Recognition Award as Outstanding Police Officer for Advocacies on Law Enforcement and Social Justice. Said awards were received by PSupt Elvira Garen, chief of Human Rights Affairs Office, and PSupt Mary Crystal B Peralta, chief of Public Information Office, on behalf of the regional director.
PCSupt Sapitula lauded the men and women of Police Regional Office 1 for this accomplishment and further encouraged them to maintain a highly capable police force regionwide.
“In my decades in public service, I commit to the welfare of the people over and above my personal interest. I further guarantee the continuous peace progress in the region and promote respect for human rights especially for women and their children,” PCSupt Sapitula said.
He also extended his gratitude in the entire region for the collaborative efforts between our stakeholders, local government units and other concerned units with the Police Regional Office 1 that   served as the benchmark of excellent delivery of public service. PR / ABN
