PROCOR director makes final round for retirement

CAMP DANGWA, Benguet –Police Regional Office- Cordillera (PROCOR), Regional Director Rolando Nana made his final rounds of visit to different CAR provinces in less than a month prior to his mandatory retirement on March 15.
Nana was cited by the province of Apayao for his exemplary leadership and unending support. Apayao Governor Elias Bulut, Jr, the officialdom and its people, conveyed their utmost recognition and strong commendation to director Nana, expressing their deepest and sincerest appreciation and gratitude for his remarkable and achievements and contributions as former PNP Provincial Director of Apayao Police Provincial Office and as PROCOR Regional Director.
His untiring efforts and continued endeavors and unwavering contributions in making peace and order accessible and realistic for every Cordilleran has made a breakthrough in the decrease of
criminality rates in Apayao as well as the entire region, denying the proliferation and upsurge of lawlessness and violence, exhibiting the true epitome of public service.
The reading of said resolution was handed by Apayao Vice Governor of Remy N. Albano at the Regional Evacuation Center, Apayao Eco-Tourism and Sports Complex, Luna, Apayao.
In the two-day command visit, Nana talked to the personnel of Apayao, Ifugao and Kalinga Police Provincial Offices.
In a message, Nana expressed his thanks to the men and women of the PPOs he visited for a job well done and for their full support and taking part in keeping Cordillera peaceful He further urged them to continue living up to the expectations of the community and to remain among the finest, honest and dedicated members of the PNP family.
Meanwhile, 40 PNP personnel (14 in Apayao PPO, 12 in Ifugao and 14 in Kalinga) were awarded with the Medalya ng Kasanayan and Papuri for their commitment, teamwork and devotion to duty in intensifying the Anti-Criminality campaign under his leadership, which greatly contributed to the accomplishment of the PNP functions.
In addition, 100 short firearms of 9mm pistol will be distributed to all PPO’s, CPO, RPSB and Command Reserve and during his visits, 10 or which, were given to Apayao, 10 in Ifugao, and 15 in Kalinga PPO.
Also, 33 units of Rotary Blade/Propelled Wing Unmanned Aerial Vehicle(Drone) will be distributed for the use of Provincial Mobile Forces (PMFC) of PROCOR, 3 of which, were given to Apayao PMFC, 4 to the Ifugao PMFC, and 5 to the Kalinga PMFC.
The other firearms and drones will yet to be distributed to other PPOs and PMFCs. Moreover, 11 high powered firearms were presented to the Regional Director in Kalinga as a result of various police operations.
Nana will be retiring on March 15, upon reaching the mandatory retirement age of 56.
