SOLAR POWERED IRRIGATION PROJECT

Sustaining government’s food security program, the National Irrigation Administration-Cordillera (NIA-CAR) has completed 23 solar-powered irrigation projects which include this completed project in Usong Creek-Lagangilang-Nagtipulan Pawan Communal Irrigation Project in Abra. The project is worth P18.792 million, benefitting dozens of farmers. (INSET) Reservoir water tank which distributes water to service areas while a farmer-beneficiary operates the facility. \
