SUCCESSFUL CHRISTMAS LIGHTING CEREMONY BRIGHTENS LA TRINIDAD

LA TRINIDAD, Benguet — The municipality of La Trinidad ushered in the festive season with a resplendent Christmas Lighting Ceremony this evening at the La Trinidad Municipal Grounds. The event brought together residents, local officials, and visitors to celebrate the spirit of the holidays, symbolized by the vibrant display of lights that illuminated the town. Municipal Mayor Hon. Romeo K Salda led the ceremonial lighting, accompanied by the
Sanggunian Bayan Members led by Vice Mayor Hon Roderick Awingan, Punong Barangays, La Trinidad Chief of Police and representatives from various sectors.

The lighting ceremony began with a modest program, where Municipal Vice Mayor warmly welcomed attendees
and underscored the significance of the Christmas lighting event in fostering the holiday spirit. Also, the Municipal Mayor, in his address, expressed heartfelt gratitude to all the dedicated individuals who contributed to the success of the event. The event included lively performances from local talents, spreading cheer and showcasing the rich cultural heritage of La Trinidad. Guests enjoyed musical renditions and the countdown to the much anticipated lighting moment featuring stunning array of decorations, including a majestic Christmas tree, colorful lanterns, and twinkling displays that radiated joy and unity.

PLTCOL BENSON MACLIING also led the committed police officers of La Trinidad MPS wholeheartedly embraced
the holiday spirit, lighting up their station with dazzling Christmas decorations to spread holiday cheer. As the lights glimmered across La Trinidad, the community stood united in hope and gratitude, setting the tone for a joyful and meaningful Christmas season.
