Tests Required Anew In Baguio

Mayor Benjamin Magalong said that COVID19 detection tests, either RT-PCR or antigen will now be required for people coming to Baguio effective today (Friday, March 19, 2021) due to increasing #COVID19 cases in the country.
With the DOT-Tourism Promotions Board pledge to subsidize the antigen test, the tourists may avail it in Baguio for P500 and P350 for its residents/workers travelling in and out of the City.
Magalong though explained that the requirement for RT-PCR or antigen tests is just a temporary safety measure that may be lifted, if daily COVID-19 cases in the country will decrease or transmission is slowed down.
He assures the transparency in Baguio City’s data on COVID-19 cases and that the city government is on top of the situation as far as infection control and case management is concerned.
