The Flame captures overall Champion in RHEPC 2019

The Flame, official student publication of the Baguio Central University garnered numerous awards and captured the Overall Champion in the annual Regional Higher Education Press Conference (RHEPC) at Baguio Benguet Credit Cooperative last December 5-7,2019.

The flame staff proved their prowess in journalism by winning awards both in English and Filipino categories.

There were 14 participating schools from CAR, and The Flame, captured the over-all championship trophy. The school publication pocketed 50 awards. The contestants also received certificates of participation and recognition.

The top 7 winners in the individual contest will represent the school and CAR in the 19thLuzonwide Higher Education Press Conference at Villa Caceres Hotel, Naga City on March 19-21, 2020 are; Jenefer Butali, Royan Gadayan, Mylen Esteban, Minerva, Esteban, Kristine Violata, Janmer Louie Perez, Siegfred Cabbigat, Ariel Medwin Balbas, Angelo Abellera, Corlo Rafael, Merlie Jane Palkit, Christian Michael Dalida, Xyrhen Clent Aquino, Jesusa Onio, Prince Jhessie Jularbal, Rhoanne Boado, and Jovieline Ambojnon.
