TIONG IS VEEP FOR FFCCII-LUZON

President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. called for a renewed alliance between the government and the
Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (FFCCCII), recognizing the federation’s crucial role in economic development and national progress. Fernando S. Tiong, a
Baguio based businessman and Philanthropist took his oath together with other officers as Vice president for Northern Luzon. Baguio Pilipino – Chinese Chamber of Commerce.

“Position ko po ngayon. Representative ako from Baguio as director for (FFCCCII) na oath taking kami sa Malacañang kahapon” he said. He was the former president of the Association for Philippine China Understanding (APCU) Baguio Chapter and is now a Director of the National Chapter. During the oath-taking ceremony for the new set of FFCCCII officers at Malacañan,
Marcos on June 7, 2023, and BBM highlighted the need for a strong partnership in revitalizing and transforming the economy during this critical period. He assured the Federation of the government’s continuous support and commitment to addressing business sector concerns and
improving the ease of doing business.
