Two Chinese, 4 Others Face Piles Of Cases For Baguio Entry Protocol Breach

BAGUIO CITY (October 31, 2020)- Six individuals including two Chinese nationals are facing a pile of cases after breaching Baguio entry protocols,  two even using counterfeit documents Friday afternoon.

Policemen first took two Chinese nationals and their two drivers after their two-pick up truck convoy were flagged down at a checkpoint in Irisan barangay along Naguillan road.

The two-pick-up truck convoy were flagged down at the Station 9 checkpoint and the four could not show any travel authority.  Only one of the four was able to shell out a RT-PCR result and immunology and serology result issued on October 19.

Policemen immediately sought confirmation of the document at the Green City Medical Center and Cagayan Valley Medical Center (CVMC), which issued the documents.

Authorities however discovered that only one of the four was issued a document by on September 23 by the CVMC.

Two others from Mabalacat City, Pampanga, were also taken by policemen after they were flagged down at the same checkpoint at Irisan along Naguillan Road aboard a car after they showed fake documents.

Upon checking from the Jose B. Lingad Memorial General Hospital in Pampanga, the supposed duo did not even seek any certification from the said medical facility.

The two admitted they falsified a document ti gain entry at the checkpoint heading to Baguio.

Last week, a live-in partners were also taken for questioning after showing counterfeit documents to policemen manning the checkpoint at Irisan barangay going to downtown Baguio City.
