La Trinidad Mayor Romeo Salda leads a team of the Department of Agriculture officials led by Assistant Secretary for Consumer and Political Affairs Kristine Evangelista during a visit to the La Trinidad Vegetable Trading Post on Thursday, June 2, 2022.
The DA team conducted a dialogue with the local officials and the vegetable stakeholders of La Trinidad about the possible implementation of the “Market Matching” which is a strategy employed to directly sell vegetable produce to high-end establishments and consumers, with the end in view of reducing middlemen influence thereby increasing farmer profits.
