3 BAGUIO COPS IN THE TOP 5 SELECTED INDIVIDUAL AWARDEES FOR PSA

A few days before the Individual awardees for the 122nd Police Service Anniversary (PSA) in Camp
Rafael T Crame, Quezon City, on August 8, three personnel of Baguio City Police Office (BCPO) candidates are now in the interview stage to compete for the best police officers, which is part of the selection for individual awardees. Leading the BCPO nominees was City Director Col. Frncisco Bulwayan,Jr., a contender for Best Senior Police Commissioned Officer (PCO) for Operations for CY 2023; PEMS Eric Bangdo for Best Senior Police Non-Commisioned Officer (PNCO) for
Administration; and PSSg Jaynus C Puno for Best Junior PNCO for Administration.

Bulwayan was interviewed last July 10, while Bangdo and Puno will be interviewed at the Forensic Group Maringal Hall, Camp BGen Rafael T Crame, Quezon City on July 18, 2023. In remembrance of the Philippine Constabulary’s founding on August 8, 1901 as the country’s first insular police
force, the Police Service Anniversary (PSA) is yearly celebrated in the month of August 8. This is also a time of reflection and appreciation for the PNP’s efforts to serve and protect their country and its citizens. This is in line with the Learning and Growth Perspective of PNP P.A.T.R.O.L
Plan 2030, under the objective of developing a competent, well-motivated and value oriented police personnel and organization in relation to the Transformation Program of the Organization.
