Camp John Hay Golf Club Teams are on course in   retaining  senior  Flight A crowns   in the ongoing 74th Januarius Fil-Am Golf Invitational here. Camp John Hay GC 1 produced a  three-round of   292 (89-88-121) to take a precarious five-point lead in the FIL ‘’A’’  flight while its  sister team, Camp John Hay GC 2 posted 307 (119-102-86) for a commanding  33 points advantage in  AM ‘’A’’ fairway battle. Shotmakers Dai Tsuchiya and Noel Beleran capitalized their familiarity on their home course at  John Hay, skippered Camp John Hay 1’s attack, scored 34 and 33 points, respectively, en route to 121 points  on Monday.

Teammates Villamor ‘’ Bummi’ Bumanglag shared  28 points while Marciano ‘’Mars’ Garcia 26. Over at Baguio Country Club layout, Camp John Hay GC 2  scored   86 points courtesy of   John Marasigan 27, Clyde Cabreros 23 , Manuel ‘’Manny’ Solis 20 and Bonifacio ‘’Boni’ De Castro.  Mamala Bay,  first round leader in FIL ‘’A’   signed  287  including its 89 points in the third round and placed second. The  team carded  91 and 92 in the first two rounds in BCC. Moto in third with 268 (80-79-109). Other top teams in AM ‘’A’ are The Young Ones 274 (91-96-89) settled for second position while  BIBAK NY/NJ/ Igolfers USA in third with 270 (94-90-88).

Tuesday’s   round   will be crucial for titlists   Luisita GC and Southwoods GC 2 as both teams hold a precarious 4-point  and one-point lead, respectively  against  their nearest pursuers in   the premiere FIL-AM Championship flights.  Other top teams after third round in the tournament   with Januarius Holdings, Inc. as the title sponsor and  supported by A Brown, Eastridge, and Toyota as event presenter while Alveo, Tipsy Pig, Aquatico, Moto Lubricant, Master Siomai, Robinsons Land, and Britanny as backers are :
