All non-essential travels to Baguio temporarily suspended

BAGUIO CITY(July 30, 2021)—Baguio City mayor Benjamin Magalong on Friday afternoon temporarily suspended all non-essential travels to Baguio City.

Citing the “grave possibility of another surge” of Covid19 cases prompting the IATF EID to increase community quarantine restrictions in the NCR Nd other areas considered as high risk”,  the city is pushing such track, Magalong said,  the city will only accept travellers with indispensable purposes.

Such advisory will be effective starting Saturday and will last for a week (7 days).

“We will not be allowing non-Apors to Baguio City regardless of origin,” the Mayor added.

The one week ban would even extend,  Magalong further added, if the transmission in the high risk areas is not contained.
