Some members of the public utility jeepney in Baguio City hold a protest against the pending implementation of phase outing old public utility jeepney by the Department of Transportation. Unlike in Manila, local officials here did not suspend classes and office works because jeepney operators did not join in the protest.

Ang temperatura ang pinakamababang naitala ng Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) ngayong taon.

Elementary students from various schools in Baguio City join in the elimination round of the Panagbenga street dancing competition this February 1, 2017. Winners will compete on February 25, 2017 during the championship round of street dancing which will be participated by winners from Baguio City and nearby towns and provinces in Region 1.
